The photograph
Emerald nose
Few business jets wear paint like this. The aircraft's nose is a deep, glossy emerald, almost black in the shadows, edged with a fine cream line that runs back along the fuselage. The photograph crops in tight so that the nose cone, cockpit glazing, outlined cabin door and a single oval window fill the frame.
Pale concrete and yellow taxiway lines provide the background, and the nose gear rolls along one of those lines at the bottom of the picture. The contrast between the rich green and the sun-bleached ground gives the image a striking, almost graphic-design quality.
Business jets often wear understated white liveries, so a paint scheme this rich is a rare find on the apron. The tight crop removes any distraction and lets the colour, the curve of the nose and the precise line of the cheatline speak for themselves.
An elegant print for interiors with dark green, brass or leather tones, and a quietly luxurious choice for an office or library.
Photographed on 16 August 2025 with a Sony α7R IIIA at a focal length of 524 mm.
