Terms and conditions

These terms apply to purchases from air-prints.com. Please read them before ordering.

1. Who we are

Air Prints is the trading name of Jorge Alexandre Pereira, Sole trader (empresário em nome individual).

2. The products

We sell open-edition photographic prints of original photographs by Jorge Alexandre Pereira, in the sizes and layouts shown on each product page. Prints are supplied unframed. Room images on product pages are illustrative mockups. Colours on screen may differ slightly from the printed result.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in euros. Delivery is charged once per order and is shown before you pay. Payment is taken by PayPal at the time of order.

Prices are the same wherever you live. For delivery addresses in the European Union the price includes VAT at the rate of your country (in Portugal: 23% on the mainland, 22% in Madeira and 16% in the Azores). Orders delivered to the United States, Canada and territories outside the EU VAT area are exports from Portugal and are invoiced without VAT; import taxes and duties in the destination may apply (see Shipping and delivery). A VAT invoice is issued for every order.

4. Orders and the contract

When you place an order you will receive an email acknowledging it. The contract is formed when we confirm the order by email. If we cannot accept your order (for example, if a delivery address is outside the countries we serve), we will tell you and refund any payment in full.

5. Delivery

We deliver to the destinations listed in Shipping and delivery. Risk in the print passes to you on delivery.

6. Right of withdrawal

Consumers may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods, as described in Returns and refunds.

7. Legal guarantee

You are entitled to the legal guarantee of conformity for consumer goods under Portuguese and EU law. If a print is damaged or defective, contact us.

8. Intellectual property

All photographs are © Jorge Alexandre Pereira. Buying a print gives you ownership of the physical object only; it does not grant any right to copy, reproduce or publish the image.

9. Complaints and dispute resolution

If you have a complaint, please contact us first and we will do our best to resolve it. Consumers may also use the electronic complaints book (Livro de Reclamações).

In the event of a dispute, consumers may turn to an alternative dispute resolution (RAL) entity. The entity for the Algarve region is the Centro de Informação, Mediação e Arbitragem de Consumo do Algarve (CIMAAL). Further information is available on the Portuguese Consumer Portal (www.consumidor.gov.pt).

10. Law

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. If you are a consumer, you also benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
