Photographed from above at the gate, this South African Airways Airbus sits in a pool of sharp detail while everything around it dissolves. The terminal buildings behind fall into soft darkness, and the foreground concrete blurs away, a selective-focus treatment that makes the full-size airliner look almost like a model.
Colour is held back to a few accents: the orange, green and blue of the tail, the airline's web address along the fuselage, and the orange taxi lines and markings painted across the stand. A baggage tractor and a belt loader wait beside the forward hold.
