The photograph
Superjumbo, Munich
Even the largest passenger aircraft ever built can look small under the right sky. This Lufthansa Airbus A380 rolls along the runway at Munich Airport, its four engines, double-deck fuselage and dark tail clear against the horizon line.
Above it, the sky takes over: towering, layered cloud fills more than half the frame, rendered in rich greys by the black-and-white conversion. In the foreground, grass and the parallel taxiway form calm horizontal bands that lead the eye to the aircraft.
A powerful, classic monochrome print for living rooms and studies, and a tribute to an aircraft that is becoming rare. Offered in A4 and A3+, the sizes the original phone capture supports in full detail.
Photographed on 7 May 2026 with a Xiaomi 17 Ultra (phone).
