The photograph

Spiral, Faro

Rendered in black and white, this engine at Faro Airport becomes a study in curves. The wide, smooth nacelle forms a bright ring, the fan blades twist around a spinner marked with a white spiral, and the main landing gear stands just behind.

Above the engine, passengers climb the boarding stairs to the forward door, small figures that give the scene its scale and a reminder that this is a working aircraft between flights. More people wait on the apron to the right.

A graphic, timeless print for monochrome interiors and engineering enthusiasts. Offered in A4 and A3+, the sizes the original phone capture supports in full detail.

Photographed on 27 September 2025 with a Xiaomi 14T Pro (phone).
