This close portrait of an Airbus A350 at Hong Kong International is all about the face of the aircraft. The cockpit windows, wrapped in their dark surround, look out over a pale, gently curving nose, and the nose gear stands on the yellow stop line at the gate.
The surroundings fall away into soft, warm blur: the jet bridge on the right, the glow of an engine and work platforms on the left, and painted stand markings across the concrete. The colour palette, cool aircraft against amber light, gives the image a calm, early-morning feel.
