KLM over the cumulus
A KLM Embraer regional jet glides across the frame on its approach, landing gear lowered and flaps extended, its blue and white livery matching the cool tones of the sky around it.
Below, a bank of cumulus cloud rises in soft white towers, filling the lower third of the picture and giving the composition weight. The rest is open sky in a smooth gradient of pale blue and grey, which keeps the mood light and calm.
